graphite-carbon software package provides backend data caching and persistence daemon for Graphite, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install graphite-carbon
graphite-carbon is installed in your system.
Make ensure the graphite-carbon package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep graphite-carbon *
You will get with graphite-carbon package name, version, architecture and description in a table
